Trying to see the situation from the other person’s perspective might allow you to practice empathy. Asking what they might have been going through at the time and how their experiences might have influenced their actions. Finally, making a concious decision to let go of the grievance- this may include writing a letter (even if you don’t send it) or finding another form of ritual to release your anger.
