Hello??? Is There Anybody Out There? — - A First Time Blogger’s Adventure

Well hey everyone (or anyone)! I’m Mike, and I’m thrilled to welcome you down into my little hole in the ground, where i will begin to open up some of the oddities of a middle-aged fellow who really has been on a long, strange trip with the likes of deadheads and carnies, and inmates and sailors, as well as many other random type groups of people. I want to take a moment to share a bit about myself and what you can expect here.

I have always had a passion for writing — — it has been my way of expressing thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Whether I am venting to the God of all creation, exploring random pings from inside of my mind, trying to remember tids of information, or telling some ridiculously absurd story that probably actually happened, but I am certain most people listening will find difficult to believe, writing has become the canvas that i paint my vision with.

Beyond writing, I am passionate about the recovery field, as I have been involved with Celebrate Recovery since 2009. I love kayaking in calm serene Missouri rivers. I just started RC’ing with crawler trucks last year and have always loved the woods. My working interests go so many directions your head would spin, but we can safely say I have a heavy construction background for today. I believe every interest adds some unique color to this painting we call my life, and I’m looking forward to opening to you all.
